Chef Harjinder Singh, admiringly known as Sweety Singh, takes his inspiration from his father who ran a thriving food business from a cart at Asif Ali Road in the 1950s. From being featured in coveted shows like Rhodes Across India, Feeding Frenzy and Khana Khazaana, Chef Sweety is a true ambassador of Punjabi cuisine across India and abroad. Chef’s inherent art of cooking goes back decades when home ground spices and conventional slow-cooking methods were the secret to the perfect flavour. He believes that authentic Punjabi food is not heavy, but wholesome and heart-warming and his cooking stands true to that.
